The OptiGrill team at Tefal to needed help with content for their new webzine on the Optigrill App, which was released to coincide with the launch of their Bluetooth-connected OptiGrill. If you like grilling, you should definitely check this awesome product out. Just saying…
This is an exciting ‘Internet of Things’ project, so we couldn’t wait to get started on helping them with their seasonal Christmas content.
What did we deliver?
This project called for a mixture of application related design, articles and editorial, photos and video content. Among other things, we helped Tefal by:
- Designing and building the HTML templates to upload to the App.
- Creating a series of ‘how to’ videos to showcase OptiGrill-specific recipes.
- Executing complex food photo shoots to deliver a range of bespoke images and videos.
- Writing the content and editorial for three seasonal webzine issues.
As is so often the case, this project needed to be delivered on a budget and a very tight timeframe. This required careful project and time management to hit a series of demanding deadlines! No matter how short the timeframe, however, we always keep the strategic aims centre stage in any project we take on; so we worked with our client to make sure we were meeting strategic objectives as well as on the creative delivery and art direction of the final look and feel.
As a French client, Tefal needed us to write dedicated copy to reach its English-speaking OptiGrill customers, primarily those in Australia, USA, Europe and the UK. They also wanted a supplier that could art direct a series of photo shoots to showcase the new OptiGrill and inspire the target audience to get foodie, experimental and excited when using the device.
We proposed using original photography rather than stock imagery, and also recommended bespoke videos, which we designed, directed and edited for the client to meet the overall creative brief.
