21st Century Recruitment: Joe Wiggins on the benefits of employee advocacy

By August 11, 2016 No Comments

This time last week we unveiled the first in our series of video blogs looking at the nature of recruitment in the 21st century, with Southerly CEO Shelley Hoppe offering her top tips with regard to using recruitment marketing to attract top talent.

This week we bring you our one-to-one chat with Joe Wiggins, Head of Communications (Europe) at recruitment specialist Glassdoor, who was only too happy to discuss why he believes it is essential that companies develop passionate employee advocates.

According to research by Hinge Marketing, 79% of firms report more online visibility once they implement a formal employee advocacy program, while 65% report an increase in brand recognition, results which truly highlight the importance of ensuring members of staff feel valued and are on board with a company’s aims, goals and ambitions.

We will be hosting the second event in our 21st Century Recruitment series in November, so stay tuned for more information.
