Consumer trust in branded content that appears on social media continues to grow, according to research by BrightcoveSocial media video is still the most trusted form of content, and YouTube and Facebook are the most popular channels on which to view video content, according to the research. Brightcove goes on to reveal that 80% of British consumers interact with brands on social media, with 47% saying they watch branded videos, and 43% making a purchase after watching a branded video.
